We’re proud to celebrate a major milestone for the CECA Scotland Academy — 100 new entrants into the civil engineering sector since our launch in August 2023.

This achievement reflects the commitment of CECA Scotland, our industry partners and colleges to creating real pathways into rewarding careers and tackling the skills challenge facing our sector.

While this is a fantastic success, our work continues. We currently have 25 recent graduates now looking for employment within the industry, and we remain focused on connecting them with employers and supporting them into meaningful roles.
CECA Scotland is incredibly proud of what has been achieved so far and remains determined to place as many graduates into employment as possible, helping to build the future workforce our infrastructure needs.

Next week we are hosting Meet the Students once again . This is an excellent opportunity for employers to connect with the next generation of civil engineering operative talent in an informal setting.

You’ll have the chance to meet students and lecturers, offer guidance and advice ahead of their graduation in June this year, and gain valuable insight into the skills and experience students are developing on the course.

11 March 10am – UHI Fort William College
12 March 10am – UHI Inverness
