June was a busy month for the CECA Scotland Academy. We celebrated the graduation of the latest cohorts from our six colleges. 46 dedicated students completed the 18-week course in  Civil Engineering operations, setting themselves up for an exciting career in the industry.

The CECA Scotland Academy continues to grow and we had three new college take on the course last year. UHI North, West and Hebrides, Dundee and Angus College, and South Lanarkshire college celebrated their first graduating classes of the CECA Scotland Academy in June. With 17 students completing the course across these three colleges, we can’t wait to see what the future holds for them!

We had the fourth graduations from UHI Inverness and Fife College. There was 18 students completing the course between the two colleges. The course goes from strength to strength in these partner colleges as we continue to build our industry support and build relationships. We are always grateful for the support, and the invaluable experiences that our members have given the students.

West College saw the highest number of graduates from the CECA Scotland Academy this term, with 11 students completing the programme. The course has provided these students with a solid understanding of essential industry knowledge and hands-on skills.
